Shikshagraha is that coming together — a nationwide movement of teachers, parents, youth and citizens acting on a shared belief. Mantra4Change anchors it.
Since it began, the movement has grown into a coalition working across 16 states and 47 districts, logging more than 1.37 million small improvements inside schools. Every contribution adds up once enough people decide a school is their responsibility too.

Yes. Mantra4Change US is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit in the United States, so gifts from US taxpayers are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive an acknowledgement by email for every contribution, which serves as your receipt.
Contributions fund the programmes Mantra4Change runs with state governments in India — school leadership development, teacher capacity building, Project Based Learning and community engagement. Because the work is delivered through the public system rather than alongside it, each dollar supports improvements that keep running after a programme ends.

We work with government schools through formal partnerships with state and district education departments. Our teams support head teachers, teachers and education officials directly, while institutional reform happens with SCERTs, DIETs and Teacher Education Institutes.
Programmes are evaluated with independent partners and monitored against baseline and endline data, and our annual and financial reports are published openly. You can read them in the transparency section.
